One of the adorable Panda Bear puppies -- Pyrenees and Border Collie mixes -- was given the name Coal. Their children were told they were getting coal for Christmas. Wouldn’t you just love to see the happy faces when their parents make good on that promise!

To all our foster and adoptive families: Thank you for saving the lives of the Louisiana dogs – we could not do this without you, and are incredibly grateful that you opened your hearts and gave these wonderful pups a chance to know love.
